Boys Brackets for Bethany Basketball Classic

Brackets have been released for this weekend's 17th Annual Bethany Basketball Classic on the campus of Bethany High School. This years boys bracket boasts one of the strongest fields in the history of the tournament led by the #4 ranked team in Class 4A, Holland Hall. Holland Hall will take on Western Heights (5A-UR) at 11:30 AM on Thursday in the first round. 

Bethany (4A-#18) begins the tournament as the #2 seed as they take on McLoud (4A-UR). The Bronchos enter at 2-3 on the season after a close loss to Casady the night before the Christmas break. Bethany will get some players back after some early season injuries going into this Friday's contest against McLoud at 8:30 PM.

The 3rd overall seed is Piedmont (5A-#8) as they come in sitting at 5-1 on the season. Piedmont will take on the HFC Warriors at 5:30 PM on Thursday. The final first round game, which will be the 2:30 PM game Thursday, will be the fourth seed Casady (Indep.) against the fifth seed Tahlequah (5A-#13). Tahlequah comes in 4-2 on the season so far while Casady is coming off of the big win over Bethany just before Christmas break.
