Basketball Conference Match Play Assignments Released
The Bethany boys and girls basketball teams will be in action Thursday, February 8 in the Canadian Valley Conference Match Play Series where teams from the north division matchup with their counterparts in the south division. All of the conference match play games will be played at the new Warrior Event Center on the campus of Washington High School in Washington, OK.
The Lady Bronchos finished in 5th place in the north division and will take on the 5th place team from the south division, Lindsay (3A) at 4:00 PM on Thursday. The Lady Leopards from Lindsay beat the Bronchos in their regular season cross-over matchup a couple of weeks ago 47-39 in Lindsay.
The Bronchos finished in 3rd place in the north division behind Blanchard and Kingfisher and will take on the 3rd place team from the south division, Washington (3A) at 8:30 PM on Thursday. Bethany and Washington haven't met yet this season.
The boys championship game will take place at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 10 between Kingfisher (4A-#1) and Purcell (4A). The girls championship game will take at 7:30 PM on Saturday between Blanchard (4A-#15) and Pauls Valley (4A-#10).
