Volleyball Beats Weatherford in Regional Finals

Bethany, OK - The Lady Bronchos volleyball team competed in the OSSAA Class 4A Regional Tournament this past Saturday and despite coming off of a two week quarantine due to COVID guidelines, they didn't miss a beat and won the regional, advancing to the state tournament. Bethany (4A-#7) hosted Weatherford (4A-#10) in the regional finals on Saturday and put away the Eagles easily in a 3-0 match. The Lady Bronchos won the first set 25-14 to take an early 1-0 lead. The Eagles jumped out to a lead quickly in the second set, but Bethany rallied behind some powerful spikes by Addie Ray to close out a 25-21 win in the second. The Lady Bronchos jumped out again in the third set and closed out a 25-14 set win, which gave the Lady Bronchos a 3-0 match victory.

With the win Bethany advances to the Class 4A State Tournament and will play at 10:00 AM on October 9 at Westmoore High School.
