Bronchos Name Kristin Bibbs Head Softball Coach

Bethany is proud to announce Kristin Bibbs as the next Head Coach of Broncho softball. Bibbs, who has served as the Head Coach for Bethany's middle school program, is a former all state softball player for Bethany. After graduating in 2002 she went on to play college softball at Southern Nazarene University. While at Southern Nazarene Bibbs was selected as an All Conference Player in 2006. Over the past two seasons Coach Bibbs has served as the Head MS Softball and has overseen tremendous growth in the program both in terms of success on the field and in terms of participation numbers for the program. 

Bethany's Athletic Director, Jon Arthur said, "We are very excited to have Kristen Bibbs leading our softball program. She has shown great leadership ability at the middle school level these past two seasons and has helped develop the program as a whole. Kristin was an accomplished player in her days at Bethany and in college and we look forward to having her as a part of our high school program."

Coach Bibbs said about this new role at BPS, "I strive to lead the team to build each other up while striving to reach a common goal together. Each player has different gifts and talents to bring to the team and those should be used to compliment each other. I want each individual that comes through our softball program to know they played a role in building something special." In addition to working as the head softball coach, Bibbs is also a school nurse working for Bethany Public Schools. She is married to her husband, Kennard and they have three daughters attending Bethany Schools, Madison, Avery, and Macy.
