Lady Bronchos Sail to an Easy Victory over McLoud
Bethany, OK - After splitting their first district series of the season with Kingfisher last week the Bronchos came home to host McLoud. McLoud opened up scoring in the first inning, with a ground out that scored one run. But, after that it didn't take long fo the Lady Bronchos to pull away for good with five runs in the third inning. In the 3rd inning Avery Parsells singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs and Jesse James followed with a single of her own on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Jayden Barger earned the win for Bethany, as she surrendered just two runs on three hits over six innings, striking out ten and walking zero. Boyer took the loss for McLoud. She lasted four innings, allowing ten hits and ten runs while striking out two. Green started the game for McLoud. She surrendered two runs on one hit over one and one-third innings, walking one.
Bethany totaled 11 hits in the game. Jade Flinton, Fernanda Reyes, and Parsells each racked up multiple hits for Lady Bronchos. Flinton went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Bethany in hits. Bethany didn't commit a single error in the field. The Lady Bronchos, now sit at 2-1 in district play, and next travel to the Perry Tournament this coming Thursday-Saturday.
