Lady Bronchos Softball In the Playoff Hunt

The Bethany Lady Bronchos (4A) softball squad is heading into the stretch run of their season and trying to solidify their spot in the Class 4A playoffs. Teams in the top four of the district get to host a bi-district playoff round and this would be the first time in several years for the Bronchos to host. The Lady Bronchos are entering an important stretch of their season with games against Elgin & Kingfisher, two teams they are battling for playoff positioning.

Last week Bethany got a big 3-1 district victory over Bridge Creek, which keeps hopes alive for hosting a set of games in the post season. The Bronchos already hold a victory from earlier in the season over Kingfisher as well. Next weeks matchups with both Kingfisher and Elgin will be a couple of the deciding factors in the playoff chances for Bethany.
