Wichita, KS - The Bethany Track and Field teams are set to compete over the next two days, April 12-13 at the Wichita State University Shocker Pre-State Meet. This meet is annually held inside historic Cessna Stadium and is held at the same time as the KT Woodman Collegiate Track & Field Meet. This meet has become a staple on Bethany's schedule as it always provides some of the best competition and performances of the year as well as allows athletes to compete in a state championship like atmosphere at historic Cessna Stadium. Cessna Stadium is one of the premier track and field facilities in the entire United States. Friends and family can view most of the events online at MileSplit (Small Paid Subscription Required). Thursday, April 12
12:00 PM - Sylvia Lambert and Payton Harrell will be compete in the high school Pentathalon which will consist of the 100/110 Meter Hurdles, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, and 800 (Girls) or 1500 (Boys) Meter Run.
7:00 PM - McKenzie Jernigan and Jessie Harris compete in the large school girls 1600 Meter Run.
7:40 PM - Tyler Cobb and Jermiah Martinez compete in the large school boys 1600 Meter Run.
8:45 PM - Carson Sandvik and Cameron Jernigan compete in the large school boys 3200 Meter Run.
Friday, April 13
9:30 AM - Girls 4 x 800 Meter Relay competes in large school girls division (McKenzie Jernigan, Olivia Parents, Alicia Garrett, Jessie Harris, Payton King).
10:30 AM - Boys 4 x 800 Meter Relay competes in large school boys division (Carson Sandvik, Blake Balensiefen, Tyler Cobb, Cameron Jernigan, Jeremiah Martinez).
10:50 AM - Sylvia Lambert competes in the large school girls 100 Meter Hurdles.
11:15 AM - Lawson Stout competes in the large school boys 110 Meter Hurdles.
11:30 AM - Zack Copeland and Jackson Lenhart compete in the large school boys Long Jump.
11:35 AM - Cameron Stewart and Abigail Parent compete in the large school girls 100 Meter Dash.
12:20 PM - Scott Lynch and Jackson Lenhart compete in the large school boys 100 Meter Dash.
1:00 PM - Boys 4 x 100 Meter Relay competes in large school boys division (Justin Koonce, Scott Lynch, Nate Jones, and Jackson Howard).
