Girls Basketball Advances to Regional Winner's Bracket with Win Over McLoud

McLoud, OK - The Lady Bronchos (4A-#10) started fast in the district round of the OSSAA Class 4A Playoffs Friday night and never looked back. Bethany led McLoud (4A) by over 30 points at halftime and continued their dominating play into the second half which led to a 78-23 win. Keziah Lofton led the way for the Lady Bronchos, scoring 20 points and adding 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Lauryn Scalice added 15 points, while Kayten Donley scored 10 points to go along with 16 rebounds and 5 assists of her own.

The Lady Bronchos will return to McLoud for the first day of the 4A Regional Tournament. Due to inclement weather the regional tournament has been pushed back to Friday, February 25. Bethany will take on Mannford (4A) at 7:00 PM. The Broncho boys team's first round game is now immediately proceeding the girls game at 5:30 pm as they take on John Marshall (4A) in an elimination game.
