Lauryn Scalice has scored 40 total points through two games for the Lady Bronchos.Bethany, OK - The Lady Bronchos have gotten off to a hot start this season outscoring their opening two opponents by over 35 points per game. The season started with a big, 75-27 win over Casady (Indep.) last week and continued this week with a 73-37 Western Conference win over Chickasha (4A).
The Lady Bronchos have had a balanced attack through the two games with four different players scoring in double figures in each game. Senior Lauryn Scalice had 17 and 23 in the two games, while returning starter Avery Marchino added 14 and 12 in the two games. The Lady Bronchos have also been bolstered by two Freshmen Kayten Donley and Keziah Lofton. Donley has scored 25 and 19 respectively in the two games, while Lofton also had good outings with 28 total points through two games. The depth in scoring that the Lady Bronchos have shown will make them tough to defend throughout the season.
The Lady Bronchos will take on Purcell (3A-#10) at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 9 at the Community Christian Tournament in Norman.
