Bethany Football to Host Weatherford at 7:00 PM on Friday
Launch the media gallery 1 playerBethany, OK - The Bethany Bronchos football team finished the season on a high note last week with a big victory over McLoud to finish the season at 9-1, there loan lost to the #1 ranked team in the state, Tuttle. The Bronchos, who finished in second place in District 4A-2 will host the Weatherford Eagles who were the third place finisher in District 4A-1. This marks the third straight year that Bethany and Weatherford have met in the first round of the Class 4A Playoffs. The two tradition rich football programs have split those two playoff meetings the last two years. Bethany Head Coach Jon Arthur said, "It is going to be a difficult challenge for us this week against Weatherford. They are a good football team that is very disciplined and well coached as we know from playing them for the past two seasons. Their only two losses in Class 4A this year are to top ten teams Clinton and Cache."
An important note is that this playoff game will be starting at 7:00 PM as opposed to the normal 7:30 PM starting time for the regular season.
