Broncho Cheer Finishes as Runner Up at Gameday Regionals
Oklahoma City, OK - This past Saturday the Bethany Cheerleading Team took to the mat to compete in the Class 4A Gameday Regional Cheer Competition hosted by the OSSAA. In the competition the top 15 finishers in the regional by team score advance to the State Championships on November 12. Bethany not only qualified for the State Championships this coming Saturday, but they finished in 2nd place overall in the state through the regional championships. Bethany scored 413 points for the competition, only behind Crossings Christian, who scored 430 points. Bridge Creek and Washington finished in 3rd and 4th place behind the Bronchos, respectively.
Bethany will head to the State Championships this coming Saturday, November 12 at Moore High School. We will update this article with an exact performance time once the schedule is announced. The Bronchos had an awesome crowd in attendance this past Saturday at the regional championships and having a supportive crowd is a valuable part of the gameday competition.
