Girls Soccer to Host Newcastle in 1st Round Playoff Game

The Bethany Lady Bronchos finished the regular season on a six game winning streak to run their overall record to 10-5 heading into the Class 4A Playoffs. Brackets were released today and Bethany will host Newcastle in the first round at the SNU Soccer Complex at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 26. Bethany finished with a 6-1 district record in district 4A-4 to claim the district runner up position. Newcastle comes in with a record of 12-3 on the season, but finished in 3rd place in district 4A-1. They have losses to both Clinton and Elgin in their final three games of the regular season. The winner of this game advances to the second round on Tuesday, April 30 to take on the winner of Elk City and Ada. Elk City was the champion of district 4A-2 and finished 13-3 on the season.
